"I BELIEVE THAT EVERY WOMAN IS UNIQUELY BEAUTIFUL!"
SUE ROSS, "THE CLOSET COACH
" has served as a private coach to individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations nationwide for over 20 years. She is the owner of Sue Ross Enterprises, Inc., and has extensive experience within the varied worlds of big business, start-up companies and non-profit organizations. Sue is a self-proclaimed Shopping Anthropologist and Closet Archaeologist. A strong believer in the influence that style and "creative costuming" have upon our lives, she long ago came to recognize that how she dressed affected both how she felt and how she was perceived by others.
When a college grad in need of a career-appropriate "interview suit," she discovered the art and nuances of Alternative Shopping. That three-piece French pantsuit's price-tag of $25 (a $150 retail value) was the foundation of what was to become a life-long pursuit of fabulous clothing for outrageously low prices. Constantly fielding the question, "How can you afford to dress the way you do on a budget?" she began showing friends and family members her approach to style and shopping. Requests came in from an increasing number of women asking for guidance. Sue found her $35 Ferragamo-encased feet set firmly on the path of establishing THE CLOSET COACH
. . . a practice designed to teach women locally and nation-wide "How to Dress Like a Million for a Buck, Three-Eighty!"
An innovator and visionary leader dedicated to the empowerment of women, Sue believes she was most likely born "Outside the Box." She is committed to building a grassroots, Alternative Shopping Movement
as a new paradigm, encouraging women to rethink the impact of dressing as a tool to communicate who they are and "smart" shopping as a strategy to employ. It is her goal to enable women to dress with a dynamic sense of fashion and style; promoting self-expression through clothes that enhance, celebrate and present their personalities, power and promise . . . without spending a fortune!
A popular public speaker, trainer, educator and writer, Sue enjoys spreading her message through presentations, articles and future plans for a book, printed MALL directory and CD series. Creating the modestly-priced GOLDEN HANGER MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM, women nation-wide have the opportunity to get personalized wardrobe information, shopping resources and other benefits for less than a tank of gas! As a simple way of enhancing a wardrobe, Sue urges women to "Accessorize, Accessorize, Accessorize!" To ease the way, she is introducing The Closet Coach's Private Label© of glorious Pashmina shawls (complete with photos and instructions for how to tie and wrap them) at far below standard retail prices.
Sue’s name is listed in seven Marquis "Who's Who" publications, including: "Who's Who in The World., America, Women, Education, Among Emerging Leaders; the Midwest and The West" as well as the Manchester Biographies.
At its 10th Anniversary Celebration, Sue was humbled and honored to be recognized by The Marin Association of Female Executives (MAFE) as its “2006 - Business Woman of the Year." (Pictured on the left with MAFE President, Brenda Sterling and “Life-Sponsor,” Dr. Charles D. Elias.).
Active within MAFE, NAFE, Connections Moms in Business and the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce’s women’s committee, Sue also serves on the RPO Fashion Design Advisory Committee of the Marin County, CA school system, assisting in curriculum development for high school students. She is also a Contributing Editor to www.WomensRadio.com , offering women nation-wide insights on style, Alternative Shopping
and personal expression through clothes. Committed to giving back to the community, 10% of CLOSET COACH
service profits are donated to charities helping women-in-need receive new clothing.
