Dear Sue,
Everyone who made New Year’s Resolutions
to “Become Better Organized in 2006"
raise
your right
hand. Everyone who has NOT
followed
through, raise
your left hand. If you're standing there with both
hands in the air it's time to drop your arms and
reach for your phone to set up an appointment with
THE
CLOSET COACH!
Begin 2006 as a
completely
reinvented you! I promise it will be
painless!
I'll be right there to hold your hand if you decide
to weed, and we'll have a ball defining a
personal "look" that communicates both
your beauty and your power!
Not ready to give up any of your lovelies? That's
perfectly FINE . . but, let's get those
wonderful
blouses, pants, sweaters, suits, tops,
shoes, coats, jackets or accessories you own out of
your closet and out into the world!
You'll be better organized . . . no more sighing "I
haven't
got a THING to wear" . . . and you'll discover
treasures you
didn’t even know you
owned! I believe you deserve to step out this year
more
confident
and beautiful than ever . . . don't YOU?
(BAY AREA WOMEN interested in
selecting lesser-worn items for resale . . . let's tag
your choices so you can bring them to one of the
two San Anselmo, CA shops reviewed below who lost
up to 85% of their inventory in the recent flooding.)
It's fun . . . it's SMART
and therein lies the
ART! Pick up the phone and call toll free:
(888) Sue-Ross
to set a date. Let’s party in
your closet and dress you to express your success
. . . for less!

| Review of WARDROBE EXCHANGE - San Anselmo, CA |
 |
|
621 San Anselmo Ave. San
Anselmo, CA 94960
(415) 459-7317
Proprietor: Mary Lou Hale
HOURS:
M - SA 11 - 6, SU 12 - 5
CONSIGNMENTS: M -
SA until 3 pm – No appointment
When a local woman asked for my recommendation
as to where she might find “well-tailored, professional
business suits of distinction”. . . WARDROBE
EXCHANGE immediately sprang to mind. This is
a shop that speaks of quiet elegance and terrific
designer labels. Clothing and accessories tend
toward the more established woman, rather than the
trendier items geared towards younger folks. At the
same time, there is nothing “stodgy” about
WARDROBE EXCHANGE . . . its plan is to
offer “fun” clothing for those who have passed their
20th birthdays and going stronger than ever.
In particular, the store offers an excellent selection
for business women wishing to update their
wardrobes for reasonable prices. It is one of those
sacred places for those of us seeking slacks with
traditional “high rise” waistlines, or graciously cut
(vs. “shrunken”) jackets. After all, many of us do
have upper arms, you know! Proprietor, Mary Lou
Hale says they stock high-end business suits that
are best defined as “classic with a twist.”

| Review of SAKS - San Anselmo, CA |

Anselmo, CA 94960

Proprietor: Jennifer Hansen
HOURS:

CONSIGNMENTS: Daily
until 3:00 pm – No appointment
SAKS is just . . . plain . . . FUN! This
small shop is simply jammed with wonderful finds from
dresses to jackets . . . blouses, tops and sweaters
to pants and jeans. This is THE place to find what’s
new, trendy, young and hip. Boasting everything
from tiny tops to long skirts and evening wear, I just
find going into SAKS is like taking a walk on
the “what’s happening” side of life!
Proprietor Jennifer Hansen has a great eye for mixing
and matching and her appreciation for current
fashion
trends can best be translated as “all bets are off.”
Jennifer is a great guide to the initiate seeking to
learn how to break away from “traditionally
appropriate combinations” as she helps shoppers
translate the pages of Lucky and In-Style
magazines
into looks they can achieve . . . with minimum impact
to their budgets.
